i'm not a fan
but it's rooted in 14yr old highschool rivalries.
weezer kids were not friends with pumpkin kids. no one was an exception.
still today i can't get into them.
i'd have a lot more respect if they named Pinkerton "the pink album" and stood in front of a pink background.
and just stuck to doing "color" albums forever.
