I don't want to be too hard on Bojack because it's not something I have any sort of specific hatred for, but it's definitely one of those shows I'll watch and never recommend to others (despite typically being an annoying recommender type).
Other things I have disliked about it:
- The relatively frequent alliterative/assonant/consonant micro-monologues that are only very vaguely clever and not at all amusing.
- Finding out that Jessica Biel voiced herself and therefore that all the anti-Biel slams were bullshit.
- The idea that the writers might actually think I feel for / identify with Bojack or see the character as anything other than a costumed cliché.
