Don't see it, but it's always been a ridiculous concept to me for the most part anyway.

This is part of the reason I love him. Also strange to mention as criticism on a Pumpkins message board.
-already backed up my comment about his voice/billy's
-you can't be serious. there are no two sp songs that sound anything alike and they've covered far more musical ground in 12 years than bob has achieved in his lifetime...he's been dragging out the same already-tired blues/folk (ie basic guitar chords) for nearly 50 years now. yawn, and talk about not trying.
-he was a revolutionary, but that fact now outshines anything he's done since those halcyon days, and thats why people will continue lapping him up and worshipping him even if there are "better" or more relevant artists now that aren't getting the attention they deserve. pioneer syndrome, i call it
-granted this was my weakest criticism, but i'll say that where sp's lyrics are occasionally just trite or half-baked, a few of bob's try to sound cleverer than they are and result in my brain feeling scrambled in a bid just to picture what he's talking about. this may say more about me than about his lyrics, but i know i'm not the only one who feels this way.
