winter is awful. It's not even just the cold that bothers me, but the darkness really gets me down. It's unpleasant to be outside and the darkness feels fucking oppressive when the sun sets at 5 o'clock. DC winters are usually wet and cold, but not cold and wet enough for a lot of snow, just cold and wet enough for it to be super miserable
