Were they saying it in a "huh that's weird and counterintuitive, I wonder why the stock market goes up after these events" way, or a "this proves that these events aren't so bad after all" kind of way?
Did they acknowledge that there are so many other variables in an economy that could contribute to the rise of the S&P 500 and that this is likely coincidental? Like, I'm sure I could also pick four mass shootings or celebrity marriages or volcano eruptions that coincided with a rise in the stock market and run a headline about that.
