The "normal" songs were completely unremarkable. I only remember three highlights from the show I attended.
-The Crying Tree of Mercury with Billy going karaoke style and Jeff noodling; one of the few times Jeff playing style actually worked. I also remember my friend turning to me and saying that Billy without a guitar was horrifying.
-Run2Me: not because it was good (it wasn't), but Billy made the foolish decision to play it after "1979," which was already where most fans left the show as it was the song they most wanted to see. To keep people from leaving, Billy should have done another "biggie" immediately after (like "Today"). Instead, you had people already heading to the door, and just moved even faster when they heard "Run2Me." In all honesty, not trying to hate on Corgan, it was probably the biggest crowd of people I have ever seen leave a show before the encore.
-"United States" was cool, and the only part of the show where Jimmy really seemed into it.
Obviously seeing Jimmy was cool. I won't go so far as to say the 2013 show I saw was better, but I definitely enjoyed the obligatory Oceania songs a lot more than the obligatory Monuments songs. Also, of all things, they played a really cool version of "Starz" on that 2013 tour.
