As you guys all know, I work in anti-tobacco for a living - overseeing the anti-tobacco marketing campaign here in Utah.
Anyways, wanted to get your two cents on something: does seeing somebody smoking in an ad make you want a cigarette? Our research company says that smokers resoundingly say that an ad that features anybody smoking makes that person want a smoke... which makes sense, but really - what DOESN'T make a smoker want a cigarette? Don't know, wanted your two cents.
In case you want to see the ads, would love your feedback - they're called "Quitting for Real" and are at the top of our YouTube channel at the link below. There's three of them: start with Sidewalk, then go to the Waitress, then the Workbench. Even though there's no real continuity in story between the three, that way the number of days the person has been smoke free will flow logically.
