thanks! and yeah, lol, Corgan & (as of late) Thom Yorke are the usual comparisons i hear (that I know of at least,) though hopefully i'm not quite as derivative as I was at 18. there'll pretty much always be a bit of that whine goin on though. never thought about the ascending melody thing, that's interesting
