My expectations for 'da Weez have decreased with each successive release since the blue album. Luckily, Pinkerton turned out to be one of those albums that takes time/maturity to "get". Unfortunately, that is not the case with Green, Maladroit, that live CD and Make Believe. Don't get me wrong, their songs remain pretty good/catchy musically. P&B has a good riff and solid power-pop chorus...but the lyrics...F-. I really hope the remainder of the album impresses me, but like Zeitshite, I'm thinking we're gonna have some decent music with some cringeworthy lyrics. Then again, Haunt You Every Day was their best track since Pinkerton. Then again, each band member is writing and singing a couple tracks on the album. Then again, no one really cares what I think or say. Bottom line: I'll still see them in concert for the 6th time if they visit my city, even if the Red Album sux.
