Yeah, I like a lot of groups that my friends have no interest in spending money on and I also go to a low of shows whenever I have days off during the week when everyone's working.
A little alcohol buzz is definitely a must in those situations. Pot helps too... I can go to local show sober, but I can't imagine trecking downtown all alone and being sober. Alchohol is a wonder in those times.
