My Dad is 72 and my Mum just turned 67 so who knows.

I'm 38, and I realised that I have never seen him do anything like that before. He normally rages quietly and rolls his eyes. It seems like it's a feature of his ageing process, like, he's been easygoing (in public) for the last 72 years and now he's just given up.

It made me realise that I have at least another 34 years of not being publicly thorny, before I can just give up and do what I want.
