Billy Corgan sues L.A. distributor for breach of contract

Smashing Pumpkins leader Billy Corgan is suing an L.A.-based music distributor over unpaid revenues.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the breach of contract suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court Wednesday against Rocket Science -- the distributor behind the Pumpkins' "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope" project.
Corgan says he entered into an agreement with Rocket Science at the start of 2010, but by September 2011 the company had stopped sending revenue payments. He also claims that the distributor's main executive, Kevin Day, was mishandling money and using business funds for personal expenses.
The suit says the exact amount Corgan is owed can't be determined without an accounting of Day's receipts and expenses.
