Had some friends over for lunch today and I made lasagna because yes I am that boring and suburban and we lived dangerously and split a bottle of Pinot noir four ways.
My husband and I know nothing about wine, and refuse to spend more than $35 on a bottle which leaves us between a rock and a hard place in Singapore.
But we’ve found this wine at the duty free shop at the airport and just keep buying bottles every time we come through.
Recently I bought a bottle of tanqueray malacca thinking it would be interesting but it just smells and tastes like gin. Which isn’t bad, I love gin. But still disappointing. Why bother?
(Answer: because dumb expats like me will impulse buy it)
