It's pretty funny watching the advertisements change, for like supermarkets and stuff.

Christmas is a bit of a non-event here. In the main western expat shopping district they have street decorations and stuff, and every so often you see a tree, but mostly it's just business as usual. It's sort of strange. I've been asked quite a few times here whether I celebrate Christmas.

Singapore is in many ways a city of the future.
