I love meat because I was raised on a very meat-centric diet and culture. However I am still against animal cruelty and give preference to smaller farm houses and non mass market options for meat where available (in general most local farms here raise the animals in good conditions and treat them pretty well aside from the killing their ass part)
And to clarify, I don't think anyone is less of a vegetarian for going for soy meat, for example. I just think there are many many more delicious options in vegan couisine than that.
