Dirt Pirate Creed is Deerhoofs first LP and it was never repressed since they were so unhappy with the pressing. It has obvious scratches and dimples, apparently many are warped.
I'm not sure if what I hear is the quality of the pressing though or the music itself - actually, I'm pretty sure that the pressing itself doesn't sound that bad. The music is pure uneasy listening, even moreso than what followed on the man, the king, the girl.
