Haha yeah I often throw out plastics and even sometimes paper if I don't feel like dissembling them. Never metal though. Sometimes I throw out a tea bag if I don't feel like taking it to the compost bag and sometimes I've had to throw out compost bags because they got too ripe before bringing them to the pile. It adds up fast because I'm an avid coffee/loose leaf tea/teabag tea/product eater. Like two lbs of scraps a day. I had to start throwing out egg shells because there's too much in the compost
