If you mean because Indian cuisine is too diverse across the country, that's true but it does all come from India and there are some commonalities there. Even Westernized Indian food is based on real food from India. The US is totally different because even though there are distinct cuisines, there is no truly American cuisine; it's all pretty directly borrowed from other places. The only truly original culinary thing which has originated in the US is the art of mixed drinks.
