When I told them I was trying to learn some Mandarin before we went to PRC one of the ladies, who is Chinese, was helping me pronounce zhege and nage and said "Like....ji-guh, na-guh....but not chickeh nuggeh haha!" lol.
Sorry, should I explain that story using the correct spelling of chicken nugget despite the fact that she didn't use either final consonant and that the comparison with zhege and nage wouldn't make sense, if she did...
