Production costs on a run of that size are gonna be closer to $80 a unit:
- $45 for the LPs
- $20 for the packaging
- $10 for the synth
- $5 for the cap
So that's $40k + mastering, mix etc say $5k. $45-$50k in costs.
500 * $375 = $187k
If all sold he makes around $130k.
He needs to sell 130 to break even.
There's your math kids.
