Well-made, more creepy than scary (though there are a few good jump-scares), a snappy script and good acting from the kids. The flow of the movie was a little messy at times (some of the scene-to-scene transitions seemed a bit abrupt) but that's a minor quibble. Wish they had delved a little more into the mythos behind Pennywise (in the end, he's just...kinda there for no real rhyme or reason; thus he lacks the raw monster gravitas of say, Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger or Jason Voorhees). Regardless, you will root for these Losers.

I'm a little baby when it comes to jump scares so Idk if I'll even go see this as much as I like horror novels and I drag myself to any Stephen King adaptation it's another case of I hate movies
