Yeah, I would say hit up everything between & including Head on the Door and Wish. That's their best material, and there's enough going on between all of them that you'll get a good idea of the different moods the band could pull off. Then, look through the rest of the discography depending on what mood you want to explore next. If you're looking for the gloominess of Disintegration (which is the best album of all time, fwiw), check out Seventeen Seconds, Faith, and Pornography. If you like how lush some of Wish is, go for Bloodflowers and the newer albums. If you like their more oddball moments, The Top also has so much to offer. This is a great band and you're so lucky you still get to listen to a lot of this stuff for the first time.
