An Auburn fan waiting in line was punched in the face at a Whataburger fast food restaurant after he repeatedly chanted “War Eagle,” according to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report obtained by the Northwest Florida Daily News.
Following a brief argument, two men each hit the victim near his left eye. The incident occurred at 2:20 a.m. The victim returned the punch, and the assailants fled on foot.
After the BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans in January, an Alabama fan forced his exposed body on top of an Auburn fan who had passed out in a Krystal’s restaurant.
