Hah, no Machina tracks. I'm 100% with you on that, but I think it's as far-fetched as 3 encores.

They will start with a bang... probably with a loud Zeitgeist song OR maybe with a loud machina song like everlasting gaze...

I actually really hope they do play this song. I wonder if he remembers saying this (or if obsessive fans have reminded him of it).

I always thought Soma was their best opener. It starts really quiet and then suddenly explodes. Those Lollapalooza versions rocked.

i think they should open with Rocket and set the tone for their whole show...and then play mostly all old stuff (adore, gish, pi, tafh, siamese dream, mcis).

like i've said before, they should shower europe with old material...start a major buzz...make the people everywhere else in the world JEALOUS...and at the same time give the Euro fans the shows they they never expected to see.

maybe a new track here and there, but get all the fans going NUTS with older material...let the word get around, let the album sales soar...let people soak in the new material....and then come back and focus on the new material during their own tour.

hell yes my friend....7/15/94 -- they opened with soma and it was incredible. once they reached the height of the soma build up....it seemed like the energy level never came down again until the end of the show, after starla. fuckgin awesome.

i think they should lead into some of their new songs after an older song that sounds relatively close in terms of sound, style, or lyrical content, just to prove how well it can stand side by side with the classics.
