of late i've been getting into a lot of the netphoria staples:

The Arcade Fire
Mogwai

and been listening to some of the smaller grunge bands (Alice In Chains, Mudhoney)

I haven't listened to two of those but they're generally mentioned together.

it's hard to take the lyrics serious though , richey james killed himself (and this album is often seen as his testament) because he didn't want to tour north america
