blogs are one of two things: somebody pretending to be someone that they're not to gain sympathy and adoration from people they will never meet, or someoen bitching about their job/significant other until their job/significant other finds out about it and fires/dumps them

or, thirdly, a great way to learn about new technologies, otherwise unknown websites with interesting content or as a very exciting way to learn about music

i like the idea of an mp3 blog but when i looked at the ones linked here the music i recognized by name was the only stuff i liked on there

none but i do read slashdot fairly frequently

mostly i just sit in my room and think about new things i dont like

i'm still not 100% sure what a blog is

i'm not quite sure what the true definition of it is, either

from what i've gathered, there are a few different varities
1) a livejournal-esque web log
2) a music blog, in which a new song or three is posted every day and then taken off a week later
3) blogs which are used as a means of spreading news about whatever topic
4) artist/artist collective blogs to spread art

so i guess it's just that sort of stuff

Sounds like Netphoria to me.
