The album leaf at the Knitting Factory...
Just got back. Pretty awesome. Good music obviously.
The second opener was Tender Buttons ( I think that's what they were called). Pretty hilarious. It was this one guy with a mike and a megaphone, and he would pretyt much just whisper or scream words into the megaphone into the mike. And his sister and/or love partner pressed play on an overly elaborate set of electronics and these prerecorded beats blasted us. Music was questionable, but it was a great show because they set up right in the middle of the audience. and the girl danced around with the audience members and played maracas with them. Anywho, points for showmanship. and album leaf was good...
