it wasn't so much that they hurt, but more so the pressure and tension they put on your teeth.

so yeah i didn't wear them, and my teefies still look good. this were taken 4 years after i got my braces off

i never had to wear rubberbands when i had braces. that was the best. The things that hurt were the spacers they put in before you get braces :mad:

or right after they tightened them
