Friday night, I drove out to Ironton to spend some good quality time with my friends Denise and Todd at their house. Denise made... ... brownies. Yes, that kind of brownies.

Then we sat around and stared at stuff.

Then we sat out on the porch for a few hours, and I told Denise and Todd all about the evil alliance of houses across the street, and how they were plotting our deaths.. but it was okay, because the big blue house on the corner, it was the boss house, and all the other houses had to have any plans approved by the boss house. So as long as we made friends with the boss house, we were okay.

The story continues the following Monday night.

My boyfriend got back into town around 9:00. I drove the half an hour out to his house. Isn't it beautiful?

Last night, we decided to go camping.

Aaron forgot his tent poles, so he did the only logical thing and strung his tent up with some rope from a tree.

Then it was time to eat. Everyone else wanted to cook their hotdogs on the grill, but I was roughing it. I wanted to do it the wilderness way.

Oh yeah. I left out a key part of the story.

Originally, we were going to just go out on the lake in the canoe and not camp out. When we got up in the morning, I said "I'm not going to get a shower just to go out on the lake and get all hot and sweaty and gross again.."

Instead we ended up not going out on the canoe and camping out. I was skankalicious. :( I woke up this morning and I could literally feel a layer of nasty all over my skin.

He gets that a lot. That and Thom Yorke. He put Elmer's Glue on his eye once and went to a Halloween party as Thom Yorke. <3

And, Tash, I defended Todd a couple months ago, but now he's really starting to let himself go. In that one pic he looks like my portly Aunt Petunia, who's usually whacked out on Vicodin. Tell him to kindle a few fewer joints and a few more pounds and then get back to me about that wedding engagement.

Also, post regular notices on his progress, as I'm deeply vested in his life at this point.

Oh, come on now. Todd just... doesn't take pictures well. He's also really fucking stoned in that picture, and he quit smoking pot a few years ago.. so... I don't know what my point is here, but poor Todd. :( He asks me at least once a day if I think he looks fat, or makes a comment on how he wishes he were more like his former waifish self.
