bonsor figured out

That if a robot was payed forty dollars an hour to do his job nonstop, then it would make 985,000 USD a year.

He decided this robot needs to be made.

even if the robot was paid only 20 it would still be pretty good change....

the robot doesn't know the difference between 20 and 40 dollars

Am I missing something? ... 24hrs x 365 days = 8760 hours per year.

8760 x 40 = $350,400

The whole point of robots is that we don't need to pay them.

Why would a robot need that much money?

I'd rather hire a Mexican that'll work 14 hours and make $4.75 than your bloody robot.

bonsor 08-04-2004 08:28 PM

(i was really bored)

(bored enough to create a completely unnecessary color scheme using 6 different highlighters, just to irritate a coworker)

(you should see the papers. they are a fucking eyesore)

(OJ will testify to that)

this is exactly the type of thinking that is going to eventually lead to the Robots taking over the Earth. (see - just about every single freakin sci-fi movie / series ever made)

That's why we don't ever make robots.
