she's like from kansas or something. and she looks like a ballerina. a ballerina from kansas. she normally wears her hair in a bun except yesterday it was in a braid! :O it went like all the way down her back http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/eek.gif she always talks to me and i can't hear waht she's saying cuz it's so noisy in there and i just look at her and i raise my eyebrow and i go 'yep' and then i shrug. http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/frown.gif she wears overalls a lot :=/

I joined a new orchestra last month and I feel pretty lonley. Everyone knows each other and they all chat, and I just sort of sit there.

I wish my stand partner talked to me more.

no you don't. not when u can't hear her. it's ok when i'm in the elevator with her and she talks to me cuz i can respond in an intelligent manner. but when i can't hear what she's saying i'm just like 'heh. well what can you do' even though i don't even know what she's saying. i'm just trying to guess what i'm supposed to respond by the way she looks at me. ohh man. it is bad :x and finally one day she's all 'you never talk' and of course i didn't hear her. i was al l'WHAT?' and she was all 'YOU NEVER TALK' and i was all 'oh. sorry :-/' and then we had a semi-conversation which is when i found out she's from kansas and wants to major in linguistics and i think she's a freshmen altho i could've sworn she was all 'hm we played this piece last year' although she maybe meant last year in orchestra back home even though they actually DID play that piece last year in THIS orchestra too it's so confusing.

lol.

I had a coworker/boss once who i could never understand. She'd repeat herself like 3x, and i'd finally just guess what she was saying. Mostly I'd be like "yeah" but once she was like "i said 'how are you?'" and i felt really dumb
