Nothing like a hot cup of tea in the evening.

Now if only I wasn't hyper-sensitive to caffeine. I guess there's always decaf.

This thread isn't a flame war. No one cares. http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/wink.gif

But on the same topic, I had to stop drinking caffeine and switch over to non-diet, full sugar MUG ROOTBEER instead of Diet DR PEPPER b/c that shit gave me headaches.

I've never had hot tea. If it's anything like iced tea (and what is it with your Northerners and not drinking iced tea? I mean I know it's colder up there but you still eat ice cream, right?), I don't want to try it.

really? Both times I've been up North (Chicago, New York) we've had to specifically ask for ice tea, and then make sure they bring sugar. Maybe it's just the sugar thing I thought was weird. Also my sociology prof from Wisconsin today asked us why we drank so much iced tea. I'm assuming it tastes just like hot tea but...ummm...cold. Is that right?

weird. i live 45 minutes south of chicago and every restaurant here in town serves iced tea. i've never had a problem getting iced tea in chicago either( and i know exactly where all the good iced tea is). http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/smile.gif i know plenty of people that drink iced tea. probably more so than hot tea. and i do prefer iced tea over hot tea. maybe just because i'm not so fond of hot beverages altogether unless i'm like in the mood or craving that belly warmth or something. so yeah - iced tea is quite a prominent beverage around here.
