Obligatory October Post: Halloween costume?

I'm definitely going as Jesus this year.

I need the following things:

A home-made cross. Huge. At least ten feet tall. I will drag it around school and be a big pain in the ass with it.
Birkenstocks.
A crown of thorns
Stigmata.
A robe thingy.

Anything else I would need?

What the fuck. You really are 'a special kid', aren't you. I mentioned crafting a cross out of wood in the original post. Redundant much?

I used poster tubes,
its alot lighter and better to poke people with, use some string/tape to put it together, or just put on through the sleaves of a t-shirt across the back of your neck

Why would I?

That'll be a great costume. Don't think it would go over to well at my school though...

I have no idea what I'll do. I'd like to do something original, but unfortunately, I'm a total dumbass.

would it really make sense to carry around a cross AND have stigmata?

No, of course. I'll add the stigmata after my crucifixion in the courtyard during lunchtime.

The best halloween costume I've ever seen cost about $5. A friend of mine bought a fake moustache from the dollar store, a pair of cheap, big mirrored sunglasses from the local Go-mart, and threw on a gray hooded sweatshirt for his "Unabomber" costume.

don't forget the rope-y thing that goes around your waist to hold the robe together!

I think I want to go as an oreo this year. I could just take two pieces of sheet styrofoam, carve them into a circle, paint them chocolate-y brown, tie a string between them, and then wear all white so my body would be the creme part in the middle. But it may be hard to carve out the designs on the oreo cookie part (did you know they have little flowers on the oreos? look for yourself!).

Maybe I should just go as a meat patty or something.
