I don't use it iRL because it makes me sound like a stupid burned out wanna be surfer. I can't even swim. :x

I used to use "hay" alot in the SPC era. :\

My friend and I used to watch Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts every day after school. We were so cool.


I say dude more often when I'm IMing people, and when I'm talking to certain people. But usually it's not too bad.


undivinemartyr you don't know how to SWIM??? oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! I'll teach you for free! You have to go out and swim in the ocean (or at least a bay or gulf) at least twice in your lifetime. I am so bummed out for you, seriously :(

i only remember the episode where two of the hey dude dudes got handcuffed together and had to sleep on bunkbeds. they kept switching because their arms went numb. that's all i remember.

My family never went anywhere and never taught me how to swim or like let me do any of the normal kid things kids do. Whatever. My bf's been kind of trying to teach me. It's kind of bad that I don't know how to swim considering I live in South Florida and that's like ALL there is to do here in the summer or something it's so fucking hot. Maybe one day I'll drown or something. Oh well, I haven't been near water lately, so it's all good.


I didn't even got to go to a beach until I was like 14 or something like that. I don't think I've gone to a pool till I was like 12.

i just stopped saying dude i say man now. eek it sucks

dude, twins! i used to LOVE those shows.

and i say dude a fair but in real life, mostly to authority figures because i believe it takes them down a notch, more to my level when i can address them like that.
