Yes sir! I'm asking the opinion of Netphorians and I don't care...

How long after a first date do you think you should wait to call. I've heard a couple hours. I've heard the next day.

I always thought it good to sorta wrap things up sometime later that night, but keep it a short call.

Anywayz, your thoughts please... http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/biggrin.gif

i think that the very next morning or afternoon would be appropriate. gives the other person a chance to mull things over a bit as well.

I've never been on a date.

I don't know. My mom doesn't let me date.

I wish she would.

hmmmm, good point. I don't know though, I have a "thing" about mornings. I know I like to sleep in until there is no afternoon. well, i dunno. is it wholly inappropriate and weird if you call later that night>?

I think if you feel the need to worry about when you should call.. then the person probably wasn't right for you. Does that make sense?

I've never believed in generalizations, so I don't really even take my own question seriously. And boy, I KNOW she isn't "right" for me http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/biggrin.gif http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/biggrin.gif

Just thought I'd pose a question.

I wouldn't see the point in wasting time with someone, but I guess you just want to get laid.. but anyways.

not really inappropriate - but i think that some people could misconstrue it as being a bit over eager. and what if the date doesn't get over with until like really late? you're going to call someone at 2am? i guess it really depends on the situation.

The next day.

anywayz, I think a day is good. cuz it'll probably be late and after talking for so many hours, do we REALLY need to call each other and talk some more?

Yes, thank you.

*this has been an "interactive" Netphorian post. Netphoria personally thanks all those who participated. thank you.

Well, if you really wanted to you could call to make sure she got home ok, but I think that kinda depends on how much you think you clicked. Just don't overdo it

NOT later that night. NOT the next morning. Early evening the next day is appropriate.

Yes.

Though, if a girl called me later that night (and it has happened once before, I would be incredibly stoked)

But, I don't think it really works both ways, unless the vibes were there, ya know?
