I haven't had a freaking haircut since March. I have a wedding to go to on the 29th and the woman who did my hair PERFECTLY last time is on sick leave until December. She only charged 37 bucks and "Francois" or whoever the hell he is charges 55 bucks. WHAT THE FUCK? if he fucks up my hair, i'm going to chop his balls off and glue them to his forehead.

i think you're paying 18 dollars extra just because his name is francois. that said, i think it's an 18 dollars well worth it.

but I wanted to buy that Aveda sap moss conditioner too and it's so expensive :( fucking Francois. I'm going to take before and after pics and IF I'M FROWING IN THE AFTER PIC, YOU KNOW SOMEONE HAS BALLS GLUED TO THEIR FOREHEAD.

$55 canadian? if so, that's actually pretty cheap...

i have my supercuts lady "Irene" , and she always does a great job and it only costs me like 14 bucks, plus a little tip.

we have great clips and saturdays here in ohio. that price is about what they charge. i think it's a pretty good deal because if i am lucky i get mine cut at least twice a year.

And like. No one cuts my hair right. EVER. Maybe I got the almost perfect haircut like twice in my life. And that's like after 2 days of growing out. I think I'd pay like. I dunno. Maybe I'd pay 50 USA DOLLARS for a good haircut. And all the fucking people in fucking Miami always speak SPANISH and shitty ENGLISH so it's like. Okay. Just take off like a fraction of an inch there, and cut the back shorter than the front. THEN LIKE. I WOULD ALMOST END UP WITH BANGS AND A RAT TAIL OR SOMETHING, AND I HATE BANGS ALMOST AS MUCH AS I HATE RATTAILS. (Okay, I was overexageratting on the ending up with the rattail part). Ugh. : (

Yeah. I always get problems with haircuts and haircutting people.

Like. When I'd bring the perfect pictures of the perfect haircut I want, they're all like. "Okay. That's nice. I get it." And then the lady would always hand me a fucking book and say "Okay, now pick from here" and it's like. WTF?

I pay like 30$ to my "stylist." He's about as gay as they come, but he kicks ass.

Same reason you pay 200K for a really nice car, and 20K for average. Normally you pay for what you get.

I feel your pain. I go to an aveda concept salon which is expensive to begin with. But now my stylist just got promoted to "master stylist"... so her prices went up even MORE. And that upsets me... because she's really good with curly hair. So I guess I'll just bite my tongue and pay up.

Man, if this guy fucks up my hair... I don't know, I always get nervous when someone new does my hair. My hairstylist also does impeccable highlight jobs. WHY DOES SHE HAVE TO BE ON SICK LEAVE. :( man.

yeah, where I go is an aveda concept place too. I LOVE the stuff they use. The colour lasts forever.

i agree. their stuff kicks ass. and it smells soooo good. and when i have my hair shampooed, she gives me a scalp massage. it's so dreamy.

my best friend works at an aveda salon. she has soooooooooo many hair products now-its unbelievable. she gets her hair highlighted and cut for free and everything. im jealous.

You get what you pay for. $55 for a haircut is pretty typical...and acutally on the lower end of the scale.

I went to Supercuts last weekend. Normally, its like 9.95 if they don't wash your hair (assholes!) and 14.95 if they do.....so i normally just wash my hair and head on over w/ a wet head.
THey upped the non washing price to 11.75. i was pissed. the woman didn't even do that good of a job. i think i'll go somewhere inthe mall next time..t.they have like 16.00 haircuts and they wash your fucking hair.
