i had to semi-share my emotions with my roommate
 

i'm not a very emotionally-open person.

it was bad.

she was all 'so get enough sleep last night?'

and i was all 'umm like 8 hours'

and she was all 'whend id you go to bed???'

i was all '5'

and she chastized me

and i was all 'well i couldn't sleep!'

and she was all 'maybe you shouldn't do your owrk in bed' (she's convinced that by working in bed i have sort of like programmed my brain to not want to sleep in bed)

i was all 'no it's not that...'

and she was all 'is it something in particular? what is it?'

i was all 'it's umm *fidgets* it's you know that, umm, it's that boy who died'

and she was all really really surprised because she can't bring herself to really care either way and she was all 'oh my god'

and i mumbled 'i don't think i'm freaked out about it anymore' and she was all 'huh?' and i repeated loudly 'i'm not freaked about it anymore i don't think'

ugh. so embarassing :(

you think it's funny that i was up 'till 5 amd woke up at 2? fuck. i am going to get so fucking behind on homework.

My roommate used to have a problem with me doing my work in bed, too. I don't know what the hell her problem was with that.

I always used to do my homework on my bed, even in high school. My family never understood it.

I just thought it was funny that your roommate wanted to be your mom for five minutes or something.

both my roommates are semi-moms. my other roommate is a REAL mom though. like she wakes me up in the morning and...what else. like she's always reminding my roommate like 'were you going to do your laundry today?' or my roommate leaves clothes in the bathroom 'i took this out of the bathroom i didn't want to get water on it' or like she's all wiht my roommate 'are you taking a shower tomorrow morning?'

and yeah with me too. reminds me to bring my glasses to orchestra. oy oy oy. and my first roommate, she has weird mom-qualities too. she crochets. she keeps having prospects over and is uspect it may be some misplaced maternal urge. i don't know. or maybe it's just 'cause she's a student council member or something lol.

is this related?

i'm leaving to go to orchestra and i'm about to lock my door but i see all these people coming back and i was standing there staring at the doorway wondering if one of my roommates was gonna come in. so i'm standing there with this blank look on my face and then likei hear this rustling and i turn around and there are these 3 milkyways on the floor and that really confused me so i'm standing there staring at the milkyways then i think i hear my roommate's voice in my r.a.'s room so i'm sitting there staring at the milkyways trying to figure out if that's my roommate talking (*still don't know if i should lock my door) if inally look in the direction of her room and i see this girl standing in the doorway ahh! so oi say hi to her and she's all 'those are for you' while iwas in the process of explaining that i didn't know if is hould lock my door then i was all 'huh?' oh and i looked at the candy bars again then i peeked in my ra's room and my roommate was there and i was all 'just one though?' cuz there were 3 and i figured one for each person in my room and she was all 'however many you want. you can have 1,2,3 or even 4 i have an extra one' and i was all 'ummm' and finally i decided to take one and leave the rest sitting on the floor. and then i ran out to go to orchestra and they were laughing at me :( i dunno if that's related to my little sharing of feelings or not but who knows.
