no, but really. everytime i play videogames i feel like a piece of my life has been wasted away. sorta like how i feel everytime i post here and watch tv.
i guess during the winter there aint much to do, hell...im barely making my way through a game of dungeon siege right now. i do actively play video games, but i feel there are much much much much better things, like driving to the top of the mountain while listening to dj shadow at 3:00am...man, that's heaven.

Videogames aren't the world asseater, but they are great ways to do/relieve the above mentioned. I wasn't talking about playing games 24/7. Sorry you don't have a life.

I guess i should turn off my PS2, get some acid + glow sticks and go to raving.1!! THATS TEH LIFE 4 ME 1! DJ SHADOWES IN MEH DC PLAYRE !

I do know what you mean... it's good to have actual experiences rather than simulated ones. Games are fun, but they can require a lot of your time to really enjoy them properly, and as such you could easily feel like you're wasting your time. There are much worse things you could be doing, but if someone prefers to do something else with their time, good for them.

"Yes" and "No" are bad options. Is voting no equal to wishing all video games would be wiped off the face of the earth?

But I know what Matt's talking about. I love video games. I think their potential as entertainment is just beginning, as they could easily evolve into an art form as potent as films and music.

yet I still feel like I've wasted time after I play them, even if the game is extremely awesome + fun. I barely have time to play them anyway. It's kinda sad. Although I treasure the 5 million hours I spent on them before I started to feel like that.
