The volunteer call is this Sunday at the new Hilton downtown from 2-5:30 or this Wednesday from 6-9:30.

You can volunteer to work in either three of the SXSW areas of film, music, & conference. The film portion starts before the music part so if you work your 50 hours of film volunteering you can get a badge to attend all of the music portion of it.

I'm kind of torn right now about what to do. I want to do stage manager because that would give me a TON of experience and if I do a good enough job someone might offer me a job or I may just make good contacts for the future and good resume material. However if I chose to do that, I would be stage managing a venue for about 3 nights. That means I would miss the vast majority of SXSW shows. :(

Or I could do film and get the music badge and have fun watching bands. :(
