I do. I feel bad because we used to have Presiden't Day off, but it was changed once MLK became a national holiday.. I mean if it wasn't for Lincoln, MLK wouldn't have a holiday...

Giving me MLK day off in exchange for president's day is like having Geordie Day off instead of Picard Day.

I don't think it's racist of me to think that MLK isn't the most important person in US history. Yet, he's the only person who gets his own fully national holiday and isn't villified (ie Columbus, who is villified and yet doesn't have a fully national holiday. See also St. Valentine, St. Patrick).

While I agree that President's Day should be a holiday I believe that your downgrading of MLK as just a "black man" is ridiculous.

I believe we should judge him by the content of his character and not the colour of his skin.
