What kind of tea do you like?

I prefer Darjeeling. How about you?

roland 01-18-2004 06:46 PM

earl gray to the end

DeviousJ 01-18-2004 06:46 PM

Raspberry! Actually I never drink tea, but I need a coffee substitute so I'll have to learn. I had some Earl Grey at the 'studio' the other day and that was ok. Also I have some Yerba Maté but it's... an acquired taste

Oh, and I'm not really fussy but it must have lemon in it.

green tea, english breakfast, chai, earl grey, mandarin... i'm not too picky. just as long as it's got cream and a fuckton of sugar.

hey Brando, is gawa considered a tea? or a coffee? that's my absolute favorite.

Affectation 01-18-2004 06:53 PM

Nicotine tea.

Pssh. You're such a failure of an Englishman.

Hey, I just said I had some Earl Grey. I spelled it with an 'e' too. When I drank it I exclaimed 'I say!' and my monocle fell out

Oh. My apologies.

*is silenced*

Will 01-18-2004 07:03 PM

I used to hate green tea, but I found this Earl Grey/Green blend that's awesome, and I just got a box of Twinings pure green that I hope I like. I will always detest jasmine green tea, though. That shit is like drinking a bottle of perfume.

Hell yes. English breakfast is the best. Panera Bread also has some mango kind that's really good.

I bought a box of some vanilla hazelnut stuff that turned out to be sweet as fuck and vomit-nasty. It was the first time I can recall ever disliking tea.

I buy mine in bulk at this huge asian market. Is mostly leaves (not crushed) and rice. It's very, very good stuff. I have a problem with the cheaper stuff, or the stuff that's generally in little bags- tastes kinda fishy. Egh.

Lizard Queen 01-18-2004 07:26 PM

Black tea with vanilla.
Camomille.
Mint.
Oolong.

I have way too much tea in my apartment.

mewl 01-18-2004 07:28 PM

ooo. and this really great tea i got in saudi that made me loopy. it was blood red. i dunno what it's called.

I just bought some oolong with I haven't tried yet and I'm kind of scared to because it smells kind of nasty. I generally don't find teas from the far East appealing, so I probably shouldn't have gotten it, though I do like Chinese breakfast tea.

Apparently the only real teas are green, black, and oolong. That's kind of interesting, I guess.

Yeah, the only reason I got it is because I generally trust Twinings and the box was pretty.

Want some lemon and ginger then? It's not pleasant

They always serve Oolong at my favourite Chinese restaurant, so I bought a box of their tea. It's usually good stuff.

I just figured I should try it for the experience. I hope it doesn't go to waste.
