My older sister, Tabreeza, is 25. She is actually my half sister – we share different fathers (Although her father has now passed away). Her Boyfriend, Luther, is 19 (I think).
Not everyone in South Africa has weird names. My sister does. I do. Her boyfriend is a mixed of coloured and black, and his name is pretty normal for his culture too.
Recently she moved in with us temporarily. We are moving into our own place in February, but she is staying with us in the meantime. Anyway, Tabreeza and Luther were going through some tough times, but in the ‘heat of the argument’ he commented that he thought she was sleeping with my father.
Now personally, I think that’s pretty fucked up.
My other sister, Taryn (isn’t it fun learning all the names of my family) and her boyfriend (do you really need to know? Do you really care? Should I tell you to prove the name here are normal? After all this I had better, so, for your interest only, his name is: Nathan. Wow. Intense, eh? Jesus Christ I am bored) told me about this situation on Saturday afternoon. Shortly after hearing about this Luther himself arrived at our house.

I had a bit of a scene with him regarding this, but afterwards I felt quite bad. I mean, I can relate to that ‘heat of the argument’ situation, although I’ve never said something like that, and he’s actually a good guy. We get along well, I don’t think he’s bad at all. I also know that especially with the interracial relationship he feels really uncomfortable around my family like we don’t want him there, and I’m the only one he really talks to and such if he’s around.
I spoke to him on the phone yesterday, he said he’s sorry about that, but Tabreeza can explain the whole story. He wasn’t arrogant, or cocky, just friendly.
There was some tension when we were going to fight. Nathan, who loves to fight, was all for us fucking him up. We’re both bigger then him (I’m the biggest, cause as previously stated, I’m that cool) and there were two of us and one of him, so it was getting kind of bad. But we didn’t.
Oh, and by the way (ha) he is also a gangster.
But a gangster, not a homie.
Like a guy who mugs people with his gang with guns and sells drugs and that kind of thing. So if things did get violent, although I could fuck him up, I might get shot.
But this is a complete tangent, cause I don’t really want to fight him at all, and not for those reasons but for the ones I already said.

I think my biggest question is whether or not I was justified? It upset my sister quite a bit; she said she doesn’t tell us what to do with our lives. I tried explaining I’m not cross with her, she didn’t do anything wrong, but that she shouldn’t keep things like that from me.

Coloured is the product of a white / black relationship.
Black is standard black / black.

We have many different Hue's in South Africa.
