Another advantage is that you can set to have all of a particular user's posts filtered from all the threads you read. Even better, admins can put someone on everyone's ignore list so having to bam someone everytime they reregister won't be a huge problem.

and i know the oboard uses the other bb service by infopop (i forget the name), not vbulletin. but what i said goes for it too.
