so... the only team that gives him a chance the previous year then he proceeds to ask for a ludicrus contract of 4-5 years at 10 million a season. he won't play that long. i hate people like this. the fish even offered him 2 year 15 mil each year. i mean, you won the WS last year. have some loyalty. maybe he should return to texas and settle for last every year. but hey, at least he'll have more money that he doesn't need. FUCK THAT GUY.

And, Of course Pudge is going to want to be locked up for 4-5 years, he knows his knees won't hold up that long, and he won't have the success he has had or be able to score anything near 10 mil a year in 2-3 years.

exactly that ***** said. his knees won't last 4-5 years. i just hate the mindset of athletes today. make as much money as possible, nevermind the loyalty to a team who gave you a shot. and it's not like he was playing for peanuts. 10 mil a season is a damn good contract.
