anyone who leaves their IM password saved on a public computer
 

i am the system administrator for ~200 computers at my university, and yesterday at work i was going through them one by one. 20 or so automatically signed on instant messenger when i booted them because people leave their passwords saved in the lab for some reason. i went ahead and messaged everyone on every list, told them they suck, warned them, and then blocked them. was that mean?

come to think of it - at the place I worked this summer I had IM installed on there & the password was saved. But so far, the only person on that list is my now-ex-girlfriend. I hope somebody does that to her.
