Doesn't this guy realize how unpopular he's gonna be? I mean no one is gonna invite him to their Halloween Party because he'd probably shoot someone while they're trying to bob for apples. And think about how disappointed his parents must be. They were hoping for law school but now they're left with, "Have you met my son the sniper?" Who will play tennis or go skiing with him? Not me, that's for sure. I think he's gonna be real sorry after he takes some time to think about his actions.

Maybe he was being sarcastic. Even if that's not the case there were at least three dumber things said about the sniper over the weekend in a post where people were trying to "figure out" the sniper's actions and motives, etc.. They are so dumb that I even remember who said them.

But I stick by WVU comments. The dumbest person I've met in my entire life went to your school. He's born and raised in Tornado, WV outside of St. Albans. He graduated with honors from WV. A small sample size, but whatever you didn't respond so you must agree that your school is full of morons.

I've met some really dumb people down here. I've met lots of dumb people back home and lots of dumb people at different schools. I've met lots of smart people here. I've met lots of smart people at other schools.

I think WVU's program is excellent. I think the state is great, probably the nicest people in the union. I hate when they are joked at for being poor and uneducated. The state is called the mountain state for one reason, the mountains. These things prevent things called farms. In the history of WV they couldn't make money by farming like the other states around them. They began mining coal and creating lumber. Well mining didn't work out in the long run (ie. black lung, people getting killed, asbestos, environmental concerns, mountain top removal, ect.) and never did lumber. The state is not by anything important either.

The people are hard workers and actually care about each other. They work very hard for a living. I'd like to see you call a west virginia miner an idiot to his face instead of mumbling nonsense on the internet. The geography of the state created a poor economy and education system (besides the marshall and wvu), not the people. Also the north and south parts of the state are 100% different. So yeah, fuck off my ignorant friend.

All I was talking about was the school. Not the state. I think WV is one of the most underrated states in the Union. It's all those things you said plus very picturesque, fun to drive through, and unique in a big way.

seriously though, charleston is really really ugly

i hear morgantown is nice though and i think WVU is underrated

last year i want to have 2 ppl dress up as the wtc buildings and two ppl dress up as planes and have the planes chase each other around at the huge halloween thing chapel hill has (over 30,000 ppl come every year)

i'm going to make a sniper trap. get a bear trap and put a random person it it, then sit in my tree and wait for him to come shoot the random person. THEN the trap will close on my person and i'll have nothing to show for it!

I will go dressed up as the hunting-style sniper.

Obviously the key is the rifle. I gotta get a toy rifle or some such.

Also I have one of those goofy NRA hats that are black and yellow that old Vietnam Vet lookin dudes where.

Other than that, I'll go to the Army/Navy store and get some camoflauge, maybe an orange sweatshirt since they seem to be into that crap two.

I'll also go in white face. And do the fake beard thing.

The worst thing you you can have on Halloween is a costume where people go "uh, and what are you supposed to be."

I'm kind of abstract so I pretty much get that every year.

okay, listen moron. there are many different motives for murder. serial killers tend to have 'personal' motives, like sexual motives mostly or just like personal issues. like they're sadists and get a sexual kick out of killing people, or whatever. some people were sayign that this person is a serial killer and most definitely not a terrorist. i said that it strikes ME that he is a 'terrorist' and that his MOTIVES are more POLITICAL than PERSONAL, as in his motives seem ANTI-SOCIAL or AGAINST SOCIETY rather than PERSONAL or SEXUAL. that's not a fucking *bingo* because people keep referring to him as a serial killer and i don't know how well that term fits considering his *motives* seem more *terrorist* in nature. okay? jesus fucking christ.

I think this response speaks for itself, but I'm gonna rebut it anyway.

All serial killers fall under the general rubric of "anti-society." Most of the response you made is exactly the kind of debate we need to be having. But just saying he is anti-society means nothing.

You suggest that a serial killer who kills for sadistic, sexual, personal reasons is not anti-society. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you can name me one single serial killer who was not anti-society I'll shut the fuck up.

John Wayne Gacy - Killed teenage boys after having sex with them or raping them because he did not want to go to jail for seducing or raping them. How is he not anti-society?

Ted Bundy - Killed women for sexual reasons, etc. But it's hard to say a man who brutally killed 29 women was not anti-society.
