please don't hijack my thread

post all hostilities here. let my information post be just that. i don't want a flame war to colour people's opinions. i want it to be a peaceful friendly sort of post giving people information.

10-20-2002 04:35 AM

I'm gonna watch Red Dragon right now. just downloaded it.

Samsa 10-20-2002 04:37 AM

sounds scary

Samsa 10-20-2002 04:38 AM

dave you are the biggest moron in the world. i don't know why you have to so unpleasantly and aggressively try to ruin my threads. my only explanation is you're a stupid jerk. why is it so hard to just let me have my friendly topic? do you not understand that i just don't want to fight? ar eyou that fucking stupid? yet you choose to try to inflame me just because you're a creep. i'm sorry. it's not gonna work.

scouse_dave 10-20-2002 04:43 AM

i have no interest in 'inflaming' you, suze...i have better things to do. say, like watching the blue boys DO IT in 20 minutes time.

you rate yourself too highly it would seem

i just think you're acting like a moron wrt this voting thing....you made a thread, acted immaturely in it and got flamed. a normal person would have left it at that. oh no, you have to create another thread...then ANOTHER thread moaning about something else...jesus christ

keep taking your medicine, that's my advice

Boner 10-20-2002 04:47 AM

Scouse_dave. You are the coolest Everton fan I know. You are also the only Everton fan I know, but still, I like the fact that you don't put up with Samsa's juvenille attempts to rule Netphoria as she sees fit.

It's funny, if you think about that whole ordeal over signatures. The big fuss she made that the rule was a stupid rule. Now she gets mad because people "hijack" your posts.

Amateur Psychogist Says: Samsa has little control over the things that go in on her own life outside of Netphoria, so she overcompensates for that lack of control by trying to dominate and rule this message board. At times she does this in an entertaining fashion, but other times (like tonight) she goes way too far.

yet you continue to reply to my topics even though your replies are absolutely unnecessary and contribute nothing to the actual subject at hand. funny.

and I acted immaturely? i think not. you are bad at reading things. it's not a matter of me acting immaturely and getting flamed. it's a matter of people inciting argument where it was completely unnecessary and unwanted. the argument was not over my maturity or lack of maturity, but over the issue of whether or not it's important to vote. i find this subject fascinating and worth discussing, but not when it takes away from the original intent of my thread.

and i would agree with everything on there. except i don't think it's a bad quality to want your threads to hold the same meaning you intended for them. i get mad when my threads turn into something they weren't intended to be because i see it as my intentions completely fucked up. and yes it's partly a control issue but i do also think it's an issue of common courtesy on your part. if you were considerate you wouldn't purposefully try to ruin my threads.

Samsa 10-20-2002 05:02 AM

and for the last time, dave, my desire for you to shut the fuck up is just as great if not greater for your desire for me to shut up. the difference? i really don't care about you. i don't care to reply to your threads because i don't care about you. you obviously enjoy being rude and obnoxious and therefore enjoy replying to my threads. you keep saying 'SHUT UP' yet you are totally hypocritically unaware of the fact that when you reply unnecessarily to MY threads you are also inciting a wish in MY heart that YOU will shut up and stop posting worthless shit. cha-ching! maybe if you just stopped caring so much about what i post or how often i post your blood pressure would go down. how about you try just not replying to my topics anymore. i think you'll find that i will stop talking to you, because i dont' generally talk to people i hate unless they start it.

Coming from the guy who posted the lamest poll ever, that and the fact your name is ZERO (fucking orginal man - stop blowing chode), means you need a nice glass of hut the hell up.

I will stop sucking balls just as soon as I start sucking balls.

JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE PART OF THE "SAMSA ASS-KISSING PATROL" DOESN'T TAKE AWAY FROM MY RIGHT TO CALL HER OUT WHEN SHE GETS OUT OF LINE.

THAT TENDS TO BE ABOUT ONCE A WEEK FROM WHAT I CAN TELL.

No.

Sorry you don't like scouse_dave and you are up Samsa's asscrack but I think I speak for a lot more of Netphoria then you in this post.

Plus, I guess you didn't notice that Samsa agreed with me on the psychologocial analysis:

SO, Unitl you have something worth saying Kaleidoscope, I suggest you get the fuck off my case.

sppunk 10-20-2002 01:54 PM

Samsa's just struggling with the fact that she's now in college and not the brightest person there. Give her a semester or two and she'll begin to stop acting so "right" all the time.

Plus, voting is not right for everyone. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop polluting this board with 4 topics saying so, when it's your opinion.

Kalsedony 10-20-2002 01:59 PM

I'm commenting more on the fact that you're a moronic asshole who has been going out of his way to start shit with everyone ever since you registered. You're like a lame, watered-down rip-off of Amazing Disgrace, except he's actually quite cool, give or take the sarcasm.

And I do not kiss Suze's ass. I like her, she amuses me greatly, but you'll notice a distinct lack of my presence when one of her threads goes off into a rambling, three-part mess.

I've started shit with Samsa, Amazing Disgrace, and Rhino. That's it. And it's not fair to say I go out of my way to do it. I actually think the Amazing Disgrace seems like an alright guy. And it's hard to no to occasionaly start shit with Samsa because she is always posting.

I've argued with other people but only when the thread had already turned into a flame war.

Also once someone starts shit with me then I'm justified to respond in a hostile manner. Call it self-defense. Of course you've cited no specific examples of how I'm a moronic asshole, but well that's about on par with what I would have expected.

hardly. for one, it makes me extremely happy that i go to a school with a lot of smart people in it. secondly, so far my grades have been extremely good. wrong on both counts. i'm not struggling with anyone.

hm i'm obviously smarter than you. let's do a little math.

what's 1 + 1 - 1 + 1 -1 + 1 ???

something tells me it's two, not four.

Samsa 10-20-2002 03:22 PM

oh and just because voting isn't for *everybody* doesn't mean it's not extremely useful and important to vote. maybe voting isn't for people who are apathetic, don't approve of representative democracy, or don't approve of the candidates on the ballot (although i think that last one is a stretch. you can always do a write-in vote and i think that would have more effect than simply not voting.) plain and simply, you are a fucking moron for approaching this from a relativist standpoint. i have completely. i am so utterly sickened with this place. i think netphoria must be the only place in the world where people get *mad* when you try to give people information on an upcoming election. you are seriously fucked up. for the last time, maybe voting isn't for you, but it doesn't mean you have to poison my fucking thread. how about next time you just ignore me. ass.

Samsa 10-20-2002 03:30 PM

and oh yeah, it's not just my *opinion* that it's important to vote. voting is one of the most important checks on government. it makes politicians responsive to YOUR needs and YOUR desires. what about this don't you understand? voting isn't like skiing or worshiping jesus christ. as long as you agree with our constitution and the principles of how our government works, then there really isn't any way you can argue that voting isn't necessary. now if you'd just as soon live in somalia as the united states, then of course you're not going to care about your vote, but i'd like to think that the majority of americans and also the majority of american netphorians think representative democracy is the way to go. therefore i am doing people ap ublic service by hooking them up with helpful website. end of story. this isn't just my 'opinion'.

and oh yeah. last point. i would have stopped at one topic if you hadn't polluted my thread and steered it away from the original topic. but because of you and other people i had to make '4' topics (i really only made two topics considering the other two were deleted immediately). maybe if you hadn't stuck your nose in there and started a retarded argument this wouldn't even be an issue right now. you can't talk about me polluting the board with '4' threads when you're the fucking reason i had to try to make a new thread in the first place.
