they must have strong bowels.
that's something i've noticed. i am definitely NOT mexican, as i have weak bowels :( |
I pooed every two to three days when I ate Mexican food on a regular basis. Also, I never got diarrhea. It was great.

well tony bourdain and other traveling chefs, when they go to france or italy they generally visit the home or kitchen of a professional chef. when they visit mexico they just visit some random woman who just happens to be a really good cook. and tony bourdain, who chefs at a restaurant in new york, most of his staff are pueblan mexicans. his sous-chef is from pueblo. and he says it's not cuz there are just a lot of mexicans out there he says it's cuz they're just really good chefs. so i'll take tony's word for it.
|
Taco Bell was founded by a white dude named George Bell (or something like that) it in Nebraska or Kansas.
Generally, you can judge a Mexican restaurant by what Hispanic people think of the quality of food. I don't know many Hispanics who like Taco Bell. |
LOL

the best cheap mexican places in sac are : Oscar's very mexican food- on freeport across from my school, cheap and has the best damn burritos EVER. or Carolina's- on sutterville and franklin infront of the weird grocery store. it's open until 3am, has a drive-through and very tasty. or you can come over to my house. I'm mexican and we eat some very mexican food at my house. :) |
If you're ever in San Antonio, pay a visit to Chachos.

Chicken tacos from Taco Bell are good, but I wouldn't trust anything else there. |

SIGNS THAT YOU ARE AT AN "AUTHENTIC" MEXICAN FOOD RESTAURANT:
-free chips and salsa! -all employees are mexican and prolly related to each other -cashier barely speaks english -cashier is rude -drinks are served in styrofoam cups -NO FREE REFILLS GRRRR. -you peek into the kitchen and see pre-adolecent kids washing the dishes -one word: LARD -the napkin holder has those really really tiny single-use napkins |
SO TROO!
