What should I do to my roommate, the narc?
 
So this kid has been rude to me since the day I met him. He never says hello or any word of courtesy and everytime I say hello to him he just mumbles something. And it's not shyness, it's because his head is up his ass. He's rude to my friends and he never says anything to me, he just goes in his room and shuts the door. He only sits in the living room when I'm not there. Instead of telling me not to smoke weed in the house, he calls the cops. Last night, he leaves the house descreetly by going outside and pretending to stand on the balcony. When I went into my room he takes off (not locking the door, he always locks the door) ten minutes later a couple of pigs in uniform come knocking at my door, asking me about a funny smell in the air and asking to come in. Fortunately, Mr. Rhino knows a little about the fifth amendment. Half-hour later he comes back, obviously surprised that I'm still there, his first words are "What happened?" Not the brightest star, this kid. Now he's giving me the evil eye all the time. Mexicans are very good at dirty looks.

So enough with the explanation, I want to put the screws to this hostile little jerk. Any suggestions? First of all, I've completely stopped talking to him. I'm just going to communicate what I want him to do using alternative methods, like piling up his dirty dishes in his room (I could do that with the garbage, put it right on his bed) or seeing how long I can go without buying plastic bags and paper towels. I've already determined that his car will be egged quite completely rather soon. I was also thinking of taking the toilet paper that I bought and putting it in my room, forcing him to buy his own (but hopefully he'll have a rather nasty surprise after he takes a crap tomorrow morning).

With shit like that, he should be shot. I'm glad that you stood up to the police. First, I'd super glue his car door locks shut. Then I would bring this shit right to his face. Ask him about, and don't be polite. Tell him that you want his bitch ass to find another place to stay. Lay it right in front of him. Tell him what is did was the epitome of fucking cowardice. Don't let something like this slide.

Do it. If he's going to be such an ass, don't let him use anything of yours. And you should also confront him about it all...and suggest that he find a new place to live.

Oh it's not going to slide. I like the idea about the car door locks, however I can't really tell him to get the fuck out right now because I'm probably getting evicted on Friday.

Believe me, there's nothing I want more than to just do that. However, I'm trying to figure out how I can provoke him to throw the first punch. Right now I can get out of most of the charges and considering what could have happened to me, I'm getting off relatively clean. I don't want to fuck it up with an assault charge. Indeed it is, how embarassing. Some political maven I am. The amendments are like the commandments. Everyone knows which one comes first, but the order of the rest is kind of foggy.

not unless he was under oath in a courtroom; the fifth amendment applies only to sworn testimony in criminal cases; i mean, you don't have to answer the police when they ask you questions in your home but they can take you downtown, get a warrant, etc; this is not an application of the 5th amendment, it's just choosing not to talk to the coppers
