The Kills aren't really a very enthusiastic live act
 
saw them tonight, supporting Hot Hot Heat, who were actually pretty decent. The Kills though, just one guy who looks like a younger version of lou reed and some chick that looks psychotic. One guitar most of the time, no drums, no other instruments at all, everything is just fed through the speakers. they need to work on that aspect of their careers

I saw them last summer when they were this tiny band with one release on dimmak. I actually enjoyed their show, they both were playing good music and having a good time.

However, the venue I saw them at was the drop-in-center, a tiny youth center rec-room with no stage. I was standing literally a foot and half away from Hotel, the guy in the band. Seeing them in a larger venue might be kind of a a drag since there's a loss in intimacy.

not like they are playing in satiums... or halls... or thaters for that matter.
